HEAD COACH (Boys)

Grant Long enters his 21st season at Guyer and 23rd year coaching high school basketball. This is his 15th year as the head coach for Guyer in which they have made the playoffs every year, while winning nine out of twelve district titles. Coach Long is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he earned a degree in Sports Management and Business. He has his Masters degree in Education Administration from Lamar University. Coach Long has a twin boy and girl, Bennett and Harper. 

VARSITY ASSISTANT COACH (Boys)

Coach Roberts is in his 21st year in coaching and 15th year at Guyer High School. He played collegiate basketball at Austin College and Odessa College. He served as the head basketball coach at Thomas Jefferson High School. He earned his degree from Austin College in Mathematics. He is married to his wife Cyndy, and has two kids, Jake and Kennedy. At Guyer Coach Roberts teaches Algebra II. 

JUNIOR VARSITY COACH (Boys)

Coach Heineck enters his 3rd season at Guyer and 10th season coaching High School Basketball. Before coming to Guyer Coach Heineck spent time at Krum, Denton, & Grapevine High Schools.  Coach Heineck is from the area having played and attended Flower Mound High School and graduated from the University of North Texas earning a degree in History. He is married to his wife Liana and has two children, Savannah and Hudson.
