HEAD COACH (Boys)

Grant Long enters his 18th season at Guyer and 20th coaching high school basketball. This is his 12th year as the head coach for Guyer in which they have made the playoffs every year, while winning nine out of twelve district titles. Coach Long is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he earned a degree in Sports Management and Business. He has his Masters degree in Education Administration from Lamar University. Coach Long has a twin boy and girl, Bennett and Harper. 

VARSITY ASSISTANT COACH (Boys)

Mansour Khoury is in his 16th year at Guyer High School. Coach Khoury attended the University of North Texas where he earned his degree in Business Administration. While attending College Coach Khoury was apart of the Liberty Christian High School Boys’ Varsity Basketball staff. After graduation Khoury spent two years at the collegiate level at Richland College and Grayson College. At Guyer High School Coach Khoury teaches Social Studies. Coach Khoury is married to his wife Casey. They have daughters Mila and Laia, and a son Owen. 

JUNIOR VARSITY COACH (Boys)

Coach Linn is in his second year at Guyer High School. He has a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University. He played collegiate soccer at Oral Roberts University and the University of Houston. He has coached and taught for 21 years. He is married to his wife Lezlie, and has two kids, Tori and Blake. At Guyer, Coach Linn teaches Modified Economics/Government, Modified US History, Modified World History, and Modified World Geography.

FRESHMAN COACH (Boys)

Coach Roberts is in his 18th year in coaching and 12th year at Guyer High School. He played collegiate basketball at Austin College and Odessa College. He served as the head basketball coach at Thomas Jefferson High School. He earned his degree from Austin College in Mathematics. He is married to his wife Cyndy, and has two kids, Jake and Kennedy. At Guyer Coach Roberts teaches Algebra II.
